Six months later her mother passed• away and she decided to. keep house for her father and, brothers as she was the only daughter in the family. Modest about her contribution to the community, she was surprised and honour- . ed to receive the medal however, the honour which should have been a happy occasion was saddened by the sudden and untimely death of her son, Wayne this summer. Her philosophy has been to live each day to the fullest and she believes one gets out o'f life what you put into it. For Teresa that has meant giving of her time and energy to her family and her community.
