Sights rootns, can spring be just around the corner?
• On December 20 it looked like maybe
spring was just around the corner when
John Carter saw three robins behind the
South Kinloss Presbyterian Church.
Sympathy to the families of the late Pearl
Carter, who passed away in December.
Shirley and James Montgomery, Chris
and Greg entertained the Nicholsons and
Montgomerys on. Christmas Day.
Alice Clark entertained her family and
grandchildren to Christmas dinner on
•Christmas Eve. •
Bev Button and Chris spent Christmas
with .relatives- in Blyth and Clinton.
Congratulations to„ Anne Hamilton and
Ray Guay. They were married December
29 and will reside in Lucknow.
Sony to hear that Frank Thompson of
Kincardine is seriously ill in the Kincardine
Hospital. Frank was secretary -treasurer of
West Wawanosh Mutual Insurance Com-
pany in Dungannon for many years. He
was also clerk of Kinloss and lived on the
tenth concession.
Spending New Years day with Donna
and Garry Sutton and family were Joan and
Charlie • Murray and family, Wilma and
Cecil Sutton and family and John Sutton.

We wish a speedy recovery to Belle
Herbert who .is a patient in the Wingham
and District Hospital.
Congratulations to John and Maureen de
Bruyn on the arrival of a baby boy on
December 22.
Beryl Hunter visited for a week of the
holidays with her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Keane and family. of
Newmarket;, also with her son, Larry and
his wife, Donna Hunter and family of
Pefferlaw. She also visited on Sunday with.
Allan and Beryl MacDonald of Ashfield
and had a nice visit with Eva Freeman of
Huronview, who was visiting the same
home..
We are sorry to hear that Clarence Irwin
• of Highway 86 west is a patient in the
Goderich Hospital.
Liz Black, daughter of Margaret Black,
• spent the holidays in' Germany.
Holiday visitors with Jenny McPherson
and Margaret Black were Kevin Black and
Wen0y D'Artirs of Bath, Ontario.

to spend the winter months in Florida:
Bell Mole has just returned from two,
weeks holidays with her family. Christmas
was spent in London at the home of her .
daughter, Marion Salo and family. Don and
Kay Mole and family of Courtright also
,spent Christmas in London. Bell then
returned to Courtright where she stayed
until the day after New Years with Don and
family, and then spent the remaining part
of the week with Marion in London. Don's
daughter, Dawn of Toronto, was also home
for New Years.

Christmas holidays were Jim and Ute
Blake and son, Sean of Alliston; Grant and
Lynda Sowerby of Unionville; /Bill and Pat
Blake, Becky, Kara and Julie of Kitchener;
Barbara Blake and Scott Dickson of
Toronto; Gisele Germann of Alliston and
Chris Fragle .of California; Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Dickson and Margaret Dickson of
Atwood; Mrs. D. S. Fines of Toronto and
her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
