Mrs. Allison Ramsay graciously ,opened
her beautifully decorated , home for the
Christmas meeting of the Presbyterian
Evening Auxiliary on December 18. Mrs.
William Henderson gave the call to
worship, Make a Joyful Noise unto the
Lord:_
Mrs. Jack MacDonald led in a devotional.
period. Her theme was The Christmas
Story and traditions with .readings from
Isaiah and St. Matthew. A tape made by
Mrs. Ronald Forster, who could not be
present because of illness, was played. The
topic was a message on Peace which can be
realized, only if God's help is sought. The
verse John 3:16 is the key to real inner
peace. The tape. ended by playing a
favourrite tune, Ml Around the Manger

The response to the roll '.call ,was, ' A
Christmas Memory. .
For the variety number, .Mrs: Bert ,•
Moffat taughter two new carols.. Mrs.
Ramsay thanked the ladies for the red.
carnations and Miss Maudie" Fisher made
the courtesy remarks. Mrs. Henderson
closed the .meeting with prayer.
A social half hour followed the meeting,
during which members, answered a quiz on.
Christmas customs and enjoyed a'bountiful •
lunch served by Mrs. Ramsay, Mrs. Ross,
Gammie and Mrs. Leonard MacDonald.
