The board of directors reported
that 1986-87 was a year of steady
progress at the Clinton Community
Credit Union, with assets having
increased to $48 million from $41
million in 1986, and a dividend of
7.25 per cent on share savings
accounts, up from 6.5 per cent last
year.
The board also reported that it
was pleased with the response to
the 1986 by-law change increasing
most memberships to a minimum
of five $5 shares, resulting in a
lower amount paid in income tax
because of the increased capital
base of the Credit Union branch.
Loans Officer Roberta Wadel
went on partial disability, requir
ing the appointment of Janice de
Konig and Sandra Eedy to jointly
fill the position of full-time loan
officers. Both women have been
with the Clinton Branch for several
years.
The Credit Committee reported
that it had reviewed 811 loans from
the Clinton office, approving 616 of
these; and had reviewed 269
applications from the Exeter of
fice, approving 207. A total of
$15,855,949.39 was advanced in
new loans funds, made up of
$9,592,347.64in lion-mortgage
funds and $6,263,601.75 in mort
gage funds.
