DEAR SANTA,
If I were you I would give my
mom a new watch, because my
Mom helped put up the Christmas
tree. Andi would give my Dad a
new pool table because Dad put
pictures up.
I’d give everyone else a present -
that’s what Christmas is about.

DEAR SANTA,
I would give my dad a new
calculator because his broke, and I
would give my mom a pair of
earrings because she doesn’t like
wearing the same ones all the time.
Iwouldgive my little sister a doll
because her other one broke, and
I’d give my big sister a book so she
can practise reading.

DEAR SANTA,
If I were you, I would give my
mom and dad a nice Christmas tree
because they love me.
If I were you, I would give my
brother a nice t-shirt because he
doesn’t have a nice t-shirt.
Love,

GREETINGS
THE CITIZEN, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22, 1987. PAGE 23.
In a break with tradition, students of the Brussels Public School
presented a full-length play ‘ ‘The Wizard of Oz” last Thursday instead
of the usual Christmas skits and songs. The acting was brilliant, the
casting superb, the props realistic, and both the afternoon and evening
audiences thoroughly enjoyed themselves, with a different cast of
characters performing in most roles at each presentation. In the scene
above, in the evening presentation, Aunt Em [Laura Douma] and
Uncle Henry [Aaron Cardiff] find Dorothy [Krista Hastings]
unconscious on the ground after a Kansas tornado has demolished her
lhe value of our
friendships are enhanced
at this special time.
May we express to you
our sincere gratitude and
appreciation now for
being such good friends.
