Kathy’s Comrades Mildred Ament and Ruby Pattison served everyone and cleaned up afterwards, allowing the ladies to return to Queen’s Villa, for the second stage of the evening. Back at Queen’s Villa, Christ mas presents were then taken out from under the decorated tree and were distributed to the appropriate owner. Everyone received some thing as names were drawn last month. When everything was opened, Ruby Philp provided Christmas music on the piano, allowing everyone to join in songs. After wards, coffee and various squares that Darlene provided were appre ciated and enjoyed. All of the exciting day, was compliments of Blyth Lions, as they donated a $100 cheque to Kathy, earlier this fall to go towards the weekly Bingos being held. Thanks to the numerous donations that were received, though, it was then planned for a Christmas supper. The residents’ day proved to be the ideal way to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
