Club cooks up storm
On October 13 the third meeting
of the Ethel II4-H club was held at
Beth Earl ’ s. The name of the club is
to be “The Fruit of the Loom’’.
The meeting started with the
4-H pledge and the roll call which
was an ad for a certain type of food.
Using carrots as an example the
members were shown cooking,
panning, microwaving, steaming
and stir-frying methods of cooking
the carrots.
Each member tasted these
carrots and filled in the chart in
their books.
The club then had four members
make stir-fry vegetables and
everyone tasted them.
The club ended the meeting with
the 4-H motto.
One-stop one step closer
