Services were held at Knox
United Church. Auburn Sunday at
10 a.m. with Rev. David Snihur of
Londesboro in charge.
Mrs. Gordon Gross was the
organist and Miss Lori Millian
accompanied the soloist Mrs. Greg
Parkasshesang. “BeNot Afraid”.
The sermon title was “Taking a
Chance on God”. The offering was
received by Murray Rollinson and
Ken Ramsey.

visited on Sunday with Marjorie
McDougall.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jardin visited
on Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Beard of Mitchell.
Glad to report that Mrs. Wilma
Brawley has returned home from
St. Joseph’s Hospital, London
following surgery.
Mr. William Anderson of New
market visited on the weekend with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver
Anderson.
Women's Institute to meet
The monthly meeting of the
Auburn Women’s Institute will be
held Tuesday, September 15 at the
Community Hall at 2 p.m. l he
topic is ‘ ‘ Agriculture and Canadian
Industries”. The roll call will be
“What effects T.V. commercials
have on us.” Hostesses will be

$9,230 which will be used to
