Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. George Michie; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Michie and family; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Baker and Mark of London; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grasby; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Leitch andfamily of Waterdown; Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston of Ilderton; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Anderson of Goderich; Mr. and Mrs. Rick Ball and family of Hanover; Mrs. Rob Roy and Christina of Lakefield; Miss Sheila Anderson of London and Doug Cousins of Cambridge. Angela Nethery gets bus load of support People around Angela Nethery, Huron County Dairy Princess, accompanied by a busloadofwell wishes, travelled to the C.N.E. for the Ontario Dairy Princess competition on Saturday, August 29. Angela was chosen as one of the high point girls and will compete in the semi-finals at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 1 at the C.N.E., Toronto. Visiting at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Procter, Belgrave, Aug- ust25-27were a cousin Mrs. Diana Fawcett of Broughton, Stockridge, England and her daughter Miss Sally Fawcett of Cobhan, Surrey, England. Rev. Charles Speakman of Pick­ ering visited over the weekend with his sister Mrs. Elizabeth Procter. Belgrave Mr. and Mrs. Frank Procter and family of RR 5, Brussels; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mayberry and family of Londesboro; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Speakman and family and Rev. Charles Speakman of Pickering and Mrs. Elizabeth Procter, Bel­ grave, visited at the Elora Gorge Sunday, August 30. Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston, Tara and Erin and friend Christie Henderson of Ilderton spent the weekend with Mrs. Laura John­ ston and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grasby. Mr. and Mrs. Vince Makas and Alicia of London spent the week­ end with Mrs. Mabel Wheeler. Mrs. Winnie Wheeler of London visited on Sunday, August 30 at the home of Mrs. Mabel Wheeler. Murray McDowell of Cookstown visited on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston, also called on other relatives in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Martin and Gordon of Ottawa spent the weekend with his sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. George Procter, Katherine and Jennifer. They all attended the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Martin of Ethel on Sunday, August 23. Mrs. Alice Procter of Wingham is a patient in the Wingham and District Hospital. Mrs. Mildred Yuill was able to return home after spending 11 days in the Kitchener and Water­ loo Hospital following a heart attack. Mrs. Elizabeth Feeley of Van­ couver is spending several weeks with her mother and step father Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Yuill while her mother is convalescing. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dacuik and Meaghan of Brandon Manitoba spent a couple of days this past weekend at the home of their aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lamont and cousin Dwight La­ mont. While there they visited with their cousins Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cottrill, Shawn and Christopher. Mr. and Mrs. Dacuik and Meaghan were on their way home following their vacation in Eastern Canada. Miss Katherine Procter of RR 5, Brussels returned home after working for the summer months at Middle Falls Provincial Park near Thunder Bay. Miss Heather McDowell of Toronto called on Mrs. Robena McBurney and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse on Friday, August 21.
