Cows sold lower. Pigs traded higher. There were 691 head of cattle and 670 pigs on offer. Choice steers sold from $89 to $93 with sales to $93.75 per hundredweight. Good steers were $85 to $89. A steer consigned by Bluemont Farms of RR 1, Bright, weighing 1100 lb. sold for $93.75, with their total offering of sixteen steers, averaging 1080 lb. and selling for an overall price of $91.29.
