The Canadian Order of Foresters raises money for cancer
researchandforthe Canadian Foresters games for the
physically disabled and other local causes through social
events like card parties and draws.

The Horticultural Societies play a major role in
beautifying their communities and provide information on
horticulture to members.

The Threshers hold a hugely successful Thresher Reunion
at the Blyth fairgrounds the first weekend after Labour Day
each year and, as well, provide a chance for lovers of old
steam and threshing equipment to meet and compare notes.
INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODDFELLOWS

One of 16,000 IOOF lodges world wide whose members
raise money for research into visual problems, funds to
assist students, an education program at the United Nations
and other programs.
REBEKAH LODGE

Through its Humanitarian Service Committee this
sisterhood raises money through card games, draws,
bazaars, etc, to help anyone in time of sickness, fire or
disaster of any kind as well as provide hospital equipment for
home use.
KINSMEN

The Kinsmen is a strictly Canadian service club for men
between the ages of 21 and 40. The group engages in mutual
interest discussion and raises money to fund a wide variety of
community projects.
