Former Blyth resident dies at Huronview, buried at Union MARGARET JANELOCKWOOD Margaret Jane Lockwood, of Huronview and formerly of Clinton and Blyth, died at Huronview on July 6, 1987. Mrs. Lockwood was born in Colborne Township to David and Jane (Taman) Carter. On September 1, 1919 she married Charles Lockwood at Westfield. Aftertheir marriage they lived in Blyth. Brussels and Auburn before moving to Clinton. In 1981 Mrs. Lockwood moved to Rammeloo Rest Home near Blyth before moving to Huronview in January 1987. She was a member of Wesley - Willis United Church and a member of the U.C.W. She is survived bv one daughter Marg a ret and her husband Ken Sills of Smith Fallsandone son James Lockwood of Clinton. She is survived by eight granddchildren and also eight great-grandchild­ ren. Mrs. Lockwood is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Nelson (Zella) Patterson of Blyth and two broth­ ers Russell Carter of Seaforth and Harold Carter of Tillsonburg, formerly of Blvth. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband (Dec. 1960), two sisters, Mary Hollyman and Irene Knox and by three brothers William, Jack and Reginald Car­ ter. Berva Jane Warwick dies BERVA JANE WARWICK Berva Jane Warwick of Brussels died July 20, 1987 at Wingham and District Hospital. She was born 73 years ago in Grey township, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Parr. She married Jack Warwick who surviv­ es her. She is also survived by one son.Jimandhiswife, Nancy,of Exeter and three granddaughters, Lorraine, Dianne and Melodie. Three sisters also survive: Ber­ nice. Mrs. Tom McFarlane; Eve­ lyn, Mrs. Glenn Bray; and Eva Wright, all of Brussels. The funeral service was held July 20, 1987 from the Brussels Chapel of the M.L. Watts Funeral Homes with Rev. Victor Jamieson officiating. Interment was in Brus­ sels Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Gerald Exel, Doug Davidson, Tom MacFarlane, Glenn Bray, Harold Reger and Ken Shortreed. Gluttons for punishment, this hardy crew braved the heat wave last week to volunteer as chefs at the annual St. John's Anglican Church pork barbecue in Brussels. Dinner was served to nearly 300 people, both inside the church hall and at tables on the lawn.
