Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hayden Couple wed near Sebringville Darlene Raynard and Lee Hay­ den were united in marriage on June 6, 1987 at 3 p.m. The wedding took place at Hillside Nursing Home near Se­ bringville, Ontario, the residence of the bride’s mother. Friends and relatives from London to Manitou- lin Island and Alberta were in attendance. Sean Kieffer named Ontario scholar Sean Kieffer of RR 1, Bluevale, has been named as one of the 17 Ontario Scholars recently announ­ ced by F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham. The students earn the award by achieving an average mark of 80 per cent or higher throughout their Grade 13 year. The son of Bill and Linda Kieffer, Sean was active on the Students’ Council at F.E. Madill, and is well known in the area as a member of the Brussels Bulls Junior D Hockey team. He is enrolled to enter the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Waterloo in September. Darlene was attired in a full- length, hand-beaded, Mermaid style dress with a fingertip length veil. Her bouquet was a rose colour with white orchids. Lee wore a charcoal gray tuxedo with black pants and lapels. The bridesmaids were Lorraine Heaton of London, Linda Warwick of Bluevale and Evyonne Wheale, sister of the groom, from Barrie. They wore yellow cocktail length dresses. The groomsmen were Roger Hammond from Lively, Ontario, Roger Hayden from Toronto and Dwayne Raynard from Bluevale. They sported black spencer jackets and grey, pinstriped pants. After the wedding, a beautiful dinner was held at the Victorian Inn in Stratford. Speeches and toasts were made at that time. An open reception followed at 9 p.m. at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Com­ munity Centre in Brussels.
