MEDIUM EREY CS)-6t7) Homecoming was fun THE EDITOR: It is early Monday morning and I imagine there are a great many people in the Village of Brussels who are very tired. These are the people who organized and then worked so hard to make the 115th Homecoming such a success. What fun it was to see such active participation and attendance at the many events and activities. Whatfunitwasto have such a wonderful parade, to see families and friends enjoying themselves on their front lawns and people walking down Turnberry Street looking at the photographs in the store windows and reminiscing and renewing acquaintances. The dances, the fish fry, the beef B.B.Q., the church services and the breakfasts were so well attended and the Mill was also a popular spot. The sporting activities organiz ed for young and adults by the Optimist Club with a great bathtub race also added so much to the weekend. Thanks on behalf of the community to all you tired folk for a most memorable, enjoyable home- coming and family and friends weekend. That’s one of the reasons Brussels is a great place to live.
