The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vi Huu Huynh of Laurel, Maryland. She attended high school in Saigon, South Viet Nam and graduated from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and Massachu­ setts Institute of Technology, Boston and is employed as a Development Scientist by Corning Glass Works in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Perrie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Perrie of Brussels, Ontario. He attended Seaforth District High School, University of Toronto, University of California at Berkeley and Massachusetts Insti­ tute of Technology, Boston and is employed as a research scientist at Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
