Strickler, Mrs. Leslie Knight and Mrs. John Vanass were the drivers of the three car loads of W.I. members for their car tour on Thursday. Places visited were the Sleepy Hollow Rabbitry, RR 3, Wingham, Royal Homes, Wing­ ham and the Gingerbread Doll Museum, Wroxeter. Following their house sale on Saturday Otto and Phyllis Pfeiffer have moved to Whitechurch. Bluevale UCW marks 25th anniversary Sunday evening, June 7 the Bluevale United Church Women celebrates 25 years of service with entertainment and worship led by Unit 3. Pipers Bessie and Mary Lou Johnston piped the president and the entertainers to the front. The program consisted of piano solos and duets, a singing trio, a reading and a speech on “My Grandpa”. Those taking part were Carla Johnston, Jan VanKeulen, Julie and Janice Nicholson, Adam and AnnGarniss, Jennifer MacFar­ lane. Leanne and Cheryl Nichol­ son, Mary Peacock, Etoile John­ ston, Marlene Albers, Jean Math­ ers and Florence Johnston. A social hour followed the celebra­ tion. ANbTAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-laws filing with the Clerk of the Township of Grey, not later than the 7th day of July, 1987, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-laws and the reasons in support of the objection. AN EXPLAN AT1ON of the purpose and effect of the by-laws, describing the lands to which the by-laws apply is provided below. NOG 1H0 [519] 887-6268 PURPOSE AND EFFECT: By-law 20-1987 lowers the minimum lot size requirements for new lots being created in the village residential and village commercial zones as follows: Lots with a private well: Lot Area - from 1850 sq. m to 1400 sq. m; Lot Depth - from 46 m to 40 m; Lots with public water: Lot Area - from 1395 sq. m to 900 sq. m. Lot Depth - from 37 m to 31 m. By-law 21-1987 changes the definitions of certain automotive uses such that body shops are permitted in the Village Industrial [VM1] zone, or as home industries in the agricultural area, or accessory to an automotive sales establishment. Body repair work is not permitted ata service station except for minor body repair which is incidental to the mechanical servicing of motor vehicles. These by-laws represent general amendments to zoning by-law 12-1985 for the Township of Grey and therefore affect all lands within the Township of Grey.
