People Trina Joan Watts, daughter of Max and Barb Watts has graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, King City in Early Childhood Education. Trina is presently employed at the Matthew John Day Care Centre, Toronto. Compiled by Marilyn Higgins Visitors at Doreen and Frank Rutledge’s, were cousins of Frank’s who had not met for 42 years. They were Edna and Lawrence Hardy of Rothley Eng land. For a week they enjoyed being shown Huron County, also having lunch with John Rutledge of Blyth. After driving them to Owen Sound where they are staying with Lawrence’s relatives, the Rut ledge’s spent a night with their relatives June and Bert MacDon ald. If you see anything kind of odd going on up on Mill St. W. it’s just Jack Clark trying out his new skateboard that he won from E.M.A. “Good Luck Jack.’’ The Horticultural Society re ports that the community flower beds and boxes have all been planted and hope that with suitable weather and co-operation from everyone they will provide a spot of colour in the Homecoming celebra tion s. The interest of the towns people through donations and willingness to water the flowers is much appreciated, society mem bers say. Informative advertising helps lower the price of goods. Apology In last week’s report on a debate over the extension of John Street to service the 'Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre, The Citizen said that a three-way argument broke out at the end of the meeting between councillors Gordon Workman, Neil McDonald and Malcolm Jacobs. Because of the type of debate being waged, our reporter did not have word by word quotes and another neutral observer felt that Councillor Jacobs did not take an active part in the discussion. We therefore apologize to Councillor Jacobs for the error and hope it has not caused him embarrassment. The Planning Act [1983] requires that municipalities provide the public with the opportunity through a special meeting of Council to comment upon the need for the revision of the Village Secondary Plan. This meeting is an opportunity for anyone with comments or suggested changes to make their thoughts known to Council. The proposed Official Plan Amendment seek to carry out revisions to the Secondary Plan in 7 separate areas as follows: 1. These would apply where the use of land has been established and where the details of development have not been determined. Development of a site cannot proceed until the holding symbol is removed. 5.
