BY MARG ARET CRONYN
The third meeting of the “Top
Stitchers” was held on April 22 at
the home of Karen Phillips.
The meeting was opened with
the 4-H pledge. The business part
of the meeting was discussed. The
roll call was answered which was a
sewing review. The minutes of the
last meeting were read and passed.
The meeting material of “Seams
and Samples” was read over. Club
members then made a collar
sample.
Leader Debbie Craig showed
different seam finishes that could
be done. For home activities, club
members were to make the seam
sample that they will be using on
their shirt.
The meeting was closed and
refreshments served. The next
regular meeting was held on April
28 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of
Debbie Craig.
