The Sparlings arrived home a week or more ago from a month’s vacation in a motor home park near Fort Pierce, Florida, to which they have been going for part of 15 winters. They enjoy getting to gether with seveal families in the same park, some of whom have visited in their Blyth home. Steve and David Sparling joined their parents during the March “break” period. Laurie and Dorothy Scott are also back from a five-week holiday in Brooksville, Florida, the home of the big Christmas store. They shared with Dorothy’s brother, Ralph Caldwell and Gladys, of RR 3, Blyth, the up-to-the-minute amenities of a double trailer home in which they entertained their friends in the area and from which they set out on many motor trips. One trip was to Plant City where they enjoyed their first feed of fresh strawberries this year at the Strawberry Festival. For Ralph and Gladys especially, this, their first trip south, was most reward ing. Many relatives and friends from the Blyth area attended the wedding of Judy Brown and Don Carter in the Seaforth Community Centre and the social time which followed the ceremony. Smite ‘S'lenda!
