The CECS has recently re-opened for business, with office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Student Centre Supervisor, Lori Jamieson, saysthather office’s job is to match the skills and experi ence of students to the specific requirements of each employer, and since students who attend college, university, secondary and public schools are registered, employers can profit from a wide range of students' training and interests. Students are invited to register at the Listowel office from now until the end of August, or to visit the mobile registration booth that will be set up at the Brussels Tradefest. Ms. Jamieson stresses the value of student labour for an employer who has a job that would take a few days.orevenafewhours. “Wecan find you an extra pair of hands for painting, gardening, garage cleaning, haying - all those chores that resurface when the snow melts.” Students or employers interest ed in this year's programs or services are invited tocall the office at 291-2922 for more information.
