Young Morris farmer dies

Mervyn Pipe dies in Palmerston
GORDON PASSCHIER
Gordon Passchier, RR 3, Blyth,
passed away at his residence on
Thursday, March 12,1987inhis
33rd year.
He was the husband of Sylvia
(Lise) Passchier and father of three
children: Carry, Joanne and David
all at home.
Alsolefttomourn his passing
are his parents, Anton and Jenny
Passchier; twobrothers, John, and
his wife Sandra of Kitchener and
Arfton of Toronto; and five sisters,
Mary of Bly th, Anna (Mrs. John
Buffinga) of Newfoundland, Jo-
Anne of Lethbridge, Alberta,
Bernice of Kitchener and Trudy of
Blyth.
The late Mr. Passchier rested at
the Tasker Funeral Chapel, Blyth
until the funeral service which was
held on Saturday, March 14 from

dies in Listowel
CHARLES MELVILLE DENNIS
Charles Melville Dennis, of
Gorrie, formerly a resident of Grey
and Howick townships, died
March 10,1987 in Listowel Memor
ial Hospital. He was 82 years of
age.
He was born in Wingham and
married the former Ethel Wardell
whosurviveshim. One brother,
Harvey Dennis and one sister,
Verna Thomas, both of Brussels,
also survive. He was predeceased

Lucknow was pronounced dead on
arrival at Wingham and District
Hospital after being struck at 6:50
p.m.
Serving as pallbearers were:

Buffinga, Jack Nonkes, David

March 13, 1987 from the Gorrie
Chapel of the M. L. Watts Funeral
Homes with Rev. D. Pugh in
charge. Interment was in Gorrie
Cemetery.

of the westbound pick-up met
several sets of headlights and did
not see the child. No charges will be
laid and an inquest will not be held.

Blane Coultes, Murray, Gary and
Neil Pipe; three great grandsons,
Corey, Tyler and Nicholas Camp
bell; two brothers, Lloyd of
Seaforth and Jack of RR 4,
Brussels.
