Brussels pre-novice swamp Wingham 13-1 Brussels Atoms record perfect Brussels Pre-Novice hosted an exhibition game against Wingham this past Saturday evening. They must have been determin ed to make up for the previous Saturday’s game because just a few minutes into the period Steven Machan made a pass to Andrew Exel to score Brussels’ first goal. The first period ended with a terrific unassisted goal by Brett Fisher, leaving the score 5-0 for Brussels. Second period Brussels players switched positions. At first, un familiar with their new jobs, they let Wingham get past them to take the play down to the Brussels net. Everyone tried their best to get the next goal. Suddenly, Steve Machanscoredagain on a pass from Jeff Finch for a hat-trick. Shortly thereafter, Chad McCall um came through on a breakaway making the score 7-0. Spurred on by the thrill of it all, Chad McCallum, assisted by Scott Clark son and Josh Beuerman scored the eighth goal and the ninth goal unassisted.
