They will be at home to Exeter on Friday night at 9 p.m. and to Mitchell on Saturday night at 7 p.m. for a cancelled game from two weeks ago. They will be in Seaforth on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. for a hectic week of hockey. There has been much controver sy lately about cleaning up hockey in the junior ranks. Well after having accompanied a local hoc key player to University Hospital in London on Wednesday night in severe pain, I heartily agree. I then witnessed two more Brussels players leaving Sunday afternoon’s game because of two more shoulder injuries after hav ing been taken heavily into the boards. Yes, 1 agree it has to be cleaned up but let’s start with the officiating. If the games were all called equally by the officials, the majority oftheseinjurieswould not happen. A good clean body check on the ice very seldom hurts anyone, but this stuff against the boards has to stop. The Bulls weekly lottery draw of $50 was won by Pat Melady of Seaforth. The regular 50-50 draw was shared by Jack Fischer of Mitchell and Dave Hastings, Brus sels.
