Wedding
consultant
to open soon
in Stratford
A new business designed to help
future brides with wedding prepar
ations is opening soon in Stratford.
Stratford area resident Jill How-
att, a certified wedding consultant,
is scheduled to open Weddings

their mothers are now working
full-time or they are from out of
town.

Ingersoll, a certified wedding
consultant.
Ms. Howatt will be sole proprie
tor of her business but she will work
with her mother, who makes
wedding cakes and who is also a
certified wedding consultant.
Currently, Ms. Howatt is em
ployed at the Huron Street Brew
ers’ Retail store in retail sales.

arrange weddings from start to
finish. “I can help to make the
wedding preparations and the
wedding day itself a most wonder
ful, hassle-free time for the bride
and groom,” Ms. Howatt said.
She said a wedding consulting
Howatt will undertake prepara
tions for an entire wedding or part
of the wedding. She will make
arrangements for the church and
clergy, a photographer, direct the
rehearsal, hire the disc jockey or
band, plan the color scheme,
dinner menu, and arrange for the
reception facilities.
A small gift boutique will also be
located at the Erie Street business.
