As well, a network of some 35 relatives and friends of the proprie­ tors of the service all live within a 100-mile radius of Walton, and are all ready and willing to offer a helping hand wherever one is needed. Tammy and Ed Chalmers, better known as the owner-operators of the Lite Bite Restaurant in Walton, are now offering a wide variety of wedding services, and are con­ stantly working to add more agencies to their repertoire. At present, the clever hands of Mrs. Chalmers can design and create floral arrangements for the entire wedding party, using silk flowers in an endless variety of forms and colours to suit the most candid wedding photography ser­ vice, and willpresentmore than 200 poses of all aspects of the wedding day, from shots taken at the bride’s home prior to the wedding, throughout the cere­ mony, and right through the reception if need be. As well, Mr. Chalmer’s sister, Jenie Chalmers, can assist Ed and Tammy in making and decorating wedding cakes to exact order, both genuine fruit cakes or the popular styrofoam display cakes. The Chalmers have connections to a professional disc jockey service out of Kitchener, through Mrs. Chalmer’s cousin Kevin Winter­ ingham, who operate’s Kevin’s Disc Jockey Service, or KDJS. Mr. Winteringham is an expert at supplying music to satisfy every musical taste, and does it with a flair that delights his many fans. in advance. The group is also affiliated with a professional catering service, through Mrs. Chalmer’s brother, Willy Preszcator, who offers all aspects of catering to even the largest party, with a staff of 40 full-time and part-time employees capable of supplying everything from cheese trays to a 20-course banquet. Walton Wedding Services is also affiliated with Chrisandra’s Ac­ cessories in Stratford, which offers a wide range of wedding accessor­ ies; and with local hairdressers with whom they can make all arrangements for the Wedding party’s hair styles. Mrs. Chalmers says she prefers a lead time of at least four months in planning a wedding, but can arrange one - complete with all the services - in as little as one week if need be. Usually she likes to meet with the client initially to discuss the basic requirements arid the budget she has to work with; and later asks for a second meeting tc go over the wedding plans in detail with the bride-to-be.
