Prizes were awarded for contests
and gatnes which were in charge of
Donald and Allan Thorton. The
oldest person present was Mrs.
Maude Sherwood; the youngest
person was Jennifer Hutchison;
Dan McInnes guessed the number
of buttons in a jar; the family
coming the farthest was Mr. and
Mrs. Roderick McKenzie; the
person with the most buttons was
Janet Newfeld. The group then
moved Outdoors for more games,
sports and visiting.
It was decided to hold the picnic
in the same location next year on
the third Sunday in July with lunch
at one o'clock.

Kinloss Township
Council Minutes
Kinloss Council met in regular
session on July 4, the reeve and all
councl were present.
After the meeting was opened
and the minutes were adopted, the
following business was dealt with.
The insurance on *the Kinloss
Township hall with Culross Insur-
ance Company. is to be retained at
the same coverage as previous.
A used sander is to be purchased
from the County of Bruce. In
response to a request, council
agreed to supply a 30' length of
culvert to permit access to the Grey
Ox memorial stone plaque at Grey
Or corner.

The sixteenth annual reunion of
the descendants of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Wm. G. Sherwood was held at
the Women's Institute Hall, Bel-
grave, on Sunday, July 17, hosted
by Mr. and Mrs. Dan McInnes.
After a bountiful noon lunch, a
short - business session followed.
Chester Finnigan and Mrs. Dan
McInnes were re-elected as presid-
ent and secretary-treasurer re-
