M.P.P. Huron-Bruce. WHITECHURCH Intended for last week Mr. and Mrs. Ted McClenaghan of Kitchener spent the weekend with Miss Mildred McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of Plattsville were Thursday visitors with her mother Mrs. Ben McClen- aghan and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Ross were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ross and family of Kitchener. On Saturday Mrs. Gershom Johnston and George Grigg visited with Mrs. Lois McMichael • of Seaforth and her daughter Mrs. Jack Collins of Chatham and were callers on Mr. and Mrs. C. Woods of Egmondville. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Black and baby of Clinton and on Mr. and Mrs. Dan McInnes of 'Myth.' On Sunday Mrs. Gershom John- ston accompanied Mr. and Mrs. John L. Currie to Kitchener where they went in a Senior ,Citizens group of buses to Toronto. At Toronto they went on a boat cruise for 3 hours and had their evening meal while on the cruise. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin spent last week in Toronto with their daughter Joyce. Recent visitors with Misses Annie and Mary Laidlaw were former nieghbours Mrs. Shepherd and her daughter Mrs. Nicholson of St. Marys. Mrs. Shepherd was the wife of the late Jack Hutchison and lived where the England family live. Those from here attending the birthday picnic at Grand Bend on Sunday for Hector Purdon were Mr. and Mrs. Wes Tiffin. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Falconer and family. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Falconer and Kevin. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon. Mrs. George Tiffin. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Falconer and Lynn of Sarnia. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mowbray. They enjoyed boating trips and water skiing. There were about 67 in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin and Mrs. George Tiffin went to Watford to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh MacMillan and family. Mrs. Agnes Farrier on Sunday attended a birthday party for her granddaughter at Guelph. daught- er of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Farrier. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Fells of Whitby were Monday callers on Mrs. Ben McClenaghan. Elliott boarded at the McClenaghan home when he taught at S. S. No. 10. Honoured On 80th Birthday An 80th birthday party was held for Mrs. Philip Stewart of Lucknow on Sunday. July 3rd at the home of her daughter. Miss Winnie Stew- art, London. Tea was served for 85 visitors during the afternoon with supper served to 65 relatives. Everyone who attended made the day a happy and memorable occasion. All Mrs. Stewart's nieces and nephews were in attendance, numbering 'fourteen. Mrs. Stewart has a family of four. Lloyd of Dundas, Allan of Burlington. Mrs. Jack (Gwen) Wilson of Oakville. Miss Winnie Stew art of London and six grand- children. Mrs. Stewart's family presented her with a money tree of 80 one dollar bills and she received a china floral arrangement from nieces and nephews. Died At Age 91 Mrs. Donald (Caroline) Mac- Leod, formerly of Kinloss Town- ship. passed away in South Porcupine Hospital on Thursday, July 14. She was 91. The funeral service was held on Monday. July 18 at 1.30 p.m. at MacKenzie Memorial Chapel, Lucknow. Interment was in South Kinloss Cemetery.
