Trevor of Goderich. Lexie and Ken
Murch, and Vincent of Clinton;
Sandy and Bob McWhinney, Rob-
bie and Tara of Dungannon visited
with the Ingleside relatives at
McWhinney's.
Cindy Lafromboise of London
has been staying with her sister.
Sandy and. Bob McWhinney and,
helping out with the baby.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reed of
Toronto spent a couple of days at
their summer home here recently.
Gwen and Jack Caesar. Dorothy
and Harold Errington, Marie and
Bill Stewart spent the weekend. in
Toronto where they visited friends
and attended-a ball game between
Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit
team.
At the Sunday morning service of
Dungannon Christian Fellowship
Church. Student Pastor Doug Zehr
delivered his fourth message in a'
series from ColosSians, entitled
"Renewal Through Christ". There
will be no morning service at
Dungannon Christian Fellowship
Church on Sunday. July 24 as the
congregation will he meeting at
Point Farms Provincial Park for the
annual Sunday School picnic. The
service begins at 10.30 a.m. and
the afternoon will include fun and
games for all ages. The picnic will
conclude the family camping week-
end which starts on Friday, July 22
at 7.30 and ends on Sunday early
enough to attend community drive-
in service at 7.30 p.m. in
Dungannon. The speaker will be
Rev. Nelson Martin of St. Agatha
and music will be provided by The
Last Command- from Glen Allan.
On Sunday evening. July 17, the
Drive-in Service, sponsored by
Dungannon Christian Fellowship
Church. was held at 7.30 p.m. on
Peter Martin's property. The
Ambassadors from Listowel prov-
ided inspiring music and the
message was delivered by Rev. Jim
Stanley of Missionary Church in
Listowel. He is a former missionary
who has preached in Africa, and
parts of South and Central Amer-
ica. It would be nice to see the yard
full of carloads of people taking the
opportunity to receive inspiration
in word and song.
The annual Vacation Bible
School will be held August 1st to
5th. 9.00 to 11.30 a.m. Kindergart-
en to Grade 2 will meet in the
Dungannon United Church, Grades
3 - 8 in the Christian Fellowship ,
Church. Come and bring a friend.
The girls from Christian Fellow-
ship Church had a camp out at
Point Farms, on the weekend. The
boy's group' met at Murray
Martin's on Sunday afternoon for
fellowship and recreation.
Rev. C. G. Westhaver preached
on the subject. "The Church's
concern about marriage", at Sun-
day morning service at the
Dungannon United Church. The

Mr. and Mrs. George Whitlam
and Lisa of Mississauga and Dr.
John Lane of 'London. England
spent a week recently with Mr. and
Mrs. Robt. Stothers in Dungannon
and at Cedar Grove Beach.
Mrs. Lorne Ivers returned home
last week after a five week visit
with relatives in Peace. River
District, Calgary. Saskatoon and
Winnipeg.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Alton, Trail,
B.C. spent a few days with Mr. and
Mrs. Robt. Irvin. Mr. Alton was
paralyzed some years ago, but
conducts a business called A.B.C.
Answering Service from his home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Stormes of
Kitchener spent a couple of days
last week with Mrs. Cecil Blake and
visited other friends in the area.
Miss Beth McConnell will have
the library open on Friday. July 22
from -2 - 5 p.m. instead of Saturday.

H ber Eedy in the hospital in
oderich and visited other relatives
in gannon on the weekend.
Jack Errington has been ill ,this
past week, perhaps due to getting
too much exposure to sun last
weekend.
Jack Smith, who was in London
hospital recently with. gall bladder
trouble, has been _convalescing at
home for the past three weeks and
expects to have to return to London
for surgery when the present
inflammation clears up.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. . Jack Smith were their
daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Byers of Clinton. On
1 Monday another daughter and
. son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory
Castrenis of Stratford Visited the
Smiths.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Gogo of
Ingleside in the St. Lawrence
Seaway area and their daughter
and family. Mr. and Mrs. William
Blair and five children of -Ingleside
set up camp and visited with Mrs.
choir contributed to the service
under the leadership of Miss
Shelley Rivett at the organ.
Sunday services will continue on
the regular schedule on Sundays,
July 24th and 31st followed by the
minister's vacation in the month of
August.
Choir practice will be held in the
church on Thursday, 7.00 p.m.
A meeting of the Manse Commit-
te of Dungannon United Church
was held at the manse on
Wednesday evening. A motion
was passed to have new steps built
at the back sun porch and Harold
Errington was appointed to look
after this.
Since there was not a full
representation of members it was
decided to hold another meeting
early in October to decide on the
feasibility of purchasing a new
chesterfield, as the present one is
getting shabby.
ST. HELENS
An error in names in the
previous news. Mr. and Mrs. Brian
Cere (not Gibb) are remaining in
the community and it is Mrs.
Cere's mother, who will be joining
the family- in the fall.
John Rutherford was a patient in
the Wingham Hospital for a couple
of days. He has since been
discharged after tests were made.
John Sleeker has been admitted
to a London hospital for further
tests. John recently returned home
from the hospital in Burlington.
Miss Adrianne Makovskis of
Willowdale returned home after
spending several days with her
cousin Christina Todd.
Sympathy is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Aitchison and family on
the passing of Cairns Aitchison.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Todd and
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Todd recently
attended a lamb barbecue at the
farm of Lloyd Brien of Ridgetown.
Miss Linda Lyons of London is
holidaying at the home of her
parents. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Lyons.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gammie of
Dawson City, Yukon Territory, are
spending their holidays with Mr.
and Mrs. Ross Gammie.

Team 6-3
Lucknow Intermediates hosted a
very competitive Brodhagen ball
team on Wednesday, July 13. With
Hugh Todd's 15 strike outs, good
hitting by Neil Bieman and Ron
Stanley and a home run by Doug
Stevenson, Lucknow came up with
a 6-3 victory.
This ends regular season play
and the' team will now play
exhibition games 'with stronger
teams to prepare for the playoffs.
Home dates have been arranged
for Mount Forest here on the 27th
at 8.30 and Wingham will be here
August 3 for a double header.
'Arrangetnents for other teams are
not yet complete. Teeswater JUn-
iors will be here on July 20 and a
rained out game with Moorefield
on the 24th.
