The descendants of Joseph and Eliza Jane Hackett held their reunion at Ashfield Park on9 July 10, with 48 persons present. All enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship, good food, and games. . The president, J. C. Drennan, presided for a short business meeting. Two minutes' silence was observed in memory of Mrs. Ewart Taylor and Mr. Harry Hackett, who had passed away during the year. Joan and Lori Hackett entertain- ed the guests with musical selections on the guitar and accordian, , which were greatly appreciated. Picnic Meeting Dungannon Branch of the Wom- en's Institute was held at 2 p.m. July 6 at the home of Mrs. Chester Finnigan with the Branch Directors in charge of a picnic. The heat and the rumbling thunder did not interfere with the fun for 13 members present. The opening contest was guessing whose name was pinned across you shoulders - from Queen Elizabeth, Helen Keller etc. to Charlie Brown. Mrs. George Errington was in charge of this contest.
