At a meeting of the Cemetery Board last week, Huber Homes Ltd. agreed to do the construction of both the cairn at the cemetery, and the cairn or marker to be placed at the road. Jerry and Sim Huber met again with the Board at the site, and a location was chosen for the project. For those of you who have been back, this will be just north of where the KINLOUGH Wfi(and Mrs. N, E. Evans and daughter Linda of Erin visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nicholson and Lois. Larry and Lisa, who .have been holidaying here, returned home with them. Mrs. Cliff 'Langford and Paul of Wocidstock visited with her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nicholson. Jamie and Kim, Langford are holidaying'here. Also visiting at the Nicholson home last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Truman Fillinger of Dearborn, Michigan and Mr. and Mrs. George Cuyler of Millarton. A number from here attended the 120th anniversary of St. Lukes Anglican Church, Pine River on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. • Tom Ellacott of Toronto visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. George Graham. William E. Haldenby went to London on Monday for his medical Checkup: He was accompanied by his brother Arthur Haldenby, who visited with Mrs. Haldenby, a patient at University Hospital. Mrs. olfe was the former Jessie Ferguson, a daughter of the late Sophia (Haldenby) Ferguson. Mr. and Mrs. George Graham and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Graham were to London on Monday where George underwent a medical check up and got a satisfactory report. We are all pleased. Mrs. Gwen Fawthrop of Stouff- ville visited with Mr. and Mrs. William Haldenby. Mr. and Mrs. T. Edgar of London visited with Mrs. Marretta Hodgins at her farm home here, also her brother Leonard Stanley of Mason, Michigan and Mr; and Mrs. Glen Hodgins and family of St. Catharines. Saturday was the family reunion of the descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stanley. Two members have passed on since their last reunion, Samuel and Everett. stones were placed to await construction. Discussion about the commemor- ative plaque for the road cairn took place and tentative plans made for its purchase. As there is no grant available for this work, the Board asks that any who feel they would like to contribute to the work on this cairn Which will help preserve the old stones, please make your donations to Don McLay, treasurer of St. Andrew's United Church, and a receipt for income tax will be issued.. * , * * * * * O
