SOUTH KINLOSS Mr. 'and Mrs. John Forster attended their nephew's wedding, Paul Elliott - Cathy Blake on Saturday at Brussels. - Judy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. DeBoer, R. 2 Teeswater. Paul Finlay, 14, grade 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Finlay of Lucknow, who won the Nicolson memorial music award. Marilynne Maclntyre, 13, a Cathy and Ann Hamilton sang a duet during the church service on Sunday. School is over for another year. Congratulations to the graduates. Last week was . a busy week as grade 8 student, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. MacIntyre, R. R. 5 Lucknow, who was the winner of the band proficiency award. Kenny Irwin, 12, a grade 6 student, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Irwin, R. R. 3 Lucknow, ,who won the junior public speaking award. graduation for the grade eight was held with the grade sevens serving lunch and punch to them and their parents and teachers. Sunday was the family picnic for the _band members at Goderich, followed With an evening program at the out door band shell. Presentation By Congregation DUNGANNON NEWS Rev. H. G. Dobson spoke on the theme, Communion, at Sunday morning service. The choir contributed a number and Shelley Rivett played the organ. The Sacrament of Communion was administered. At the close of the service Mr. K. K. Dawson spoke a few words of regret on Rev. Dobson's leaving and extending best wishes to Rev. and Mrs. Dobson for the future. On behalf of the congregation Mr. Dawson presented the minister with a gift of money. Rev. Dobson made a gracious reply and in thanking the charge, he extended an invitation to call on • them in Fonthill. Unfortunately Mrs. Dobson was unable to be present at the service due to poor health. Rev. H. G. and Mrs. Dobson are moving to Fonthill on Monday and Rev. Clyde and Mrs. Westhaver are moving into the parsonage on Wednesday. The. Induction Service for Rev. Westhaver is at Nile Church at 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening., The Dungannon Christian Fel. lowship Young People left Friday afternoon for Pioneer Park Church near Kitchener for a weekend of camping and fellowship with the young people there. Pastor Doug Zehr conducted morning worship service at Dun- gannon Christian Fellowship church taking his text from the first chapter of Collosians. He challeng- ed the Brookside graduates, who were present, with the text Matthew 6: 13; "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God".
