Girls' Soccer
A t Kingshridge
Minor soccer has been introduc-
ed to Kingsbridge. Kingsbridge
girls, represented by students from
St. Joseph's, shut out Kincardine
girls' all star team.
Kingsbridge controlled the game
in the first half of play leading to a
goal by Jackie VanOsch. Debbie
Austin, the captain, and Joanne
Crawford directed the attack
throughout the game. Jean Vogt,
the goalie, kept her shutout intact
throughout the second half even
though Kincardine threatened to
score several times. Kingsbridge
came close to scoring their second
goal but the ball was kicked off the
line by a Kincardine defender.
Linda Sinnett received an
excellent pass from Jackie Dalton
and scored the second and final
goal of the game.
This was the first in a series of
exhibition games for youth in the
Kingsbridge area. Anyone inter-
ested in coaching or arranging
future games should get in touch
with Dave Zyluk at 529-7646 or
