Edgar, Harry and Iva Carr would
like to' thank their neighbours and
friends for the expressions of
sympathy of cards, calls, visits and
baking brought to the home at the
• time of their recent bereavement in
the passing of their dear sister
Margaret Irene Hayden. All was
deeply appreciated.
The family of the late Mrs. Lolita
Quinn would like to express their
sincere thanks and appreciation to
the nurses and staff of the
Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home,
Lucknow, for the excellent care and
attention given their mother while
she' was a resident there.
The family of the late Irene
Hayden will always remember the
many acts of kindness and comfort
offered by friends, relatives, and
neighbours during our recent
bereavement. Our thanks go out for
floral contributions, memorial don-
ations to the Ontario Heart
Foundation, Arthritis and Rheuma-
tism Society, Canadian Cancer
Society, and Christ Church, Port
Albert as well as food sent in and
other expressions of sympathy
received. We are grateful to Dr. B.
Lynch, the ambulance attendants,
nurses, and staff of the Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital for
their kindness and care. Sincerest
thanks to Rev. Robert J. Crocker,
the McCallum Funeral Home,
pallbearers, flower bearers, and
the A.C.W. of Christ Church for
providing the lunch.

Visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Osborne and family were
cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Parsons from Kansas City, Kansas,
Mary Walker from Sherman,
Texas, and Mary Beth Streeter of
Las Vegas, Nevada. While here
they are also visiting with Robert's
sisters and their families and Mrs.
Jack Reavie of Wingham. Mr.
Parsons is a grandson of the late
W. C. Smith, who resided on the
4th of Huron on the farm now
owned by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
`Blackwell. On Sunday, June 26 a
family picnic was held at the home
of Duncan McCallum of Hanover.,
Mrs. Oscar White visited on
Sunday with Mr. White in St.
Joseph's Hospital, London.
• Miss Sherry Nelson left for her
home in Wawa last Friday after
spending a couple of weeks with
her grandmother Mrs. Oscar
White.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack McGuire and
Brian and Mrs. Walter Black
visited on Saturday evening ,with
Mrs. Robert Engel, Robbie and
Marilyn at their cottage at Lurgan
Beach.
The fire truck was out to the
Ripley dump to• extinguish a fire
which had gotten out of control and
was burning the fence bottom and
the hay field on the farm of Ernie
Coiling.
Mrs. Ray Hamilton and Wendy
attended the Stacey reunion on
Sunday at Wallacetown. Also
attending were Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Bennett and family of Burlington
and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Tout and
Susan of Kincardine.
