Mr. and Mrs. Tony Bedford and
Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Stanley were
recent dinner guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Stanley and family of
Ripley.
Mr. and Mrs. John releaven
and family Kathy, Craig, Douglas,
and Russell visited in Beaver,
Pennsylvania, recently nd attend-
ed the Humphries-Trele ven wed-
ding on June 4 in Park United
Presbyterian Church, Beaver. The
bride, Anne, is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Treleaven. Mrs.
Harold Treleaven, who .had been
visiting the past six weeks in
Calory with Mr. and Mrs _Frank
MacKenzie and family, joined
them there and returned home with
them. Dr. and Mrs. Gary Suter, of
Ottawa, also attended the wedding,
and Kathy Treleaven returned to
Ottawa with, them for a holiday.
Elmer Smeltzer, Mr. and Mrs.
Art Smeltzer and Mr. and Mrs. Reg
Godfrey motored to Frankfort,
Michigan Saturday to attend a
Smeltzer Family Reunion. They
also had a tour of the Smeltzer
Orchard Company.
Tim and Dianne Collyer of
Campbellford are holidaying for
the next two weeks at the
Thompson cottage at Amberley
Beach.
Mrs. Gordon Ritchie of Lucknow
has returned home after spending a
week with her son Harold and'Mrs.
Ritchie at R. R. 6 St., Thomas.

Notice is hereby given to all persons in possession of land, in
accordance with the Weed Control Act, 1973 Sec. 4, 14, and 20, that
unless noxious weeds growing on their lands within the municipality
of Kinloss Township are destroyed by date of July 1, 1977 and
throughout the season, the municipality may enter upon the said
lands and have the weeds destroyed, charging the costs, against the
land in taxes, as set out in the Act.
The co-operation of all citizens is earnestly solicited.
