The choir under the direction of Mrs. Don Ross in the morning sang the anthem, Jesus Will Walk With Me and Mrs. Ronald Forster and Mrs. Bill Gibson sang, Teach Me To Pray. The anthem was Moment by Moment. Mrs. Ronald Forster and Mrs. Bill Gibson sang 'Cleanse Me 0 Lord'. The guest speaker Reverend Professor Allan Farris chose as his message, '1 Believe In The Church'. Following the evening service there was a fellowship hour held in the Sunday School room. We are pleased to report that Mrs. Clarence Adams was able to return last week from Victoria Hospital, London, to Wingham Hospital. Her many friends here wish her a speedy return to her home. Langside Cemetery meeting will be held June 6th at 8.30 at Whitechurch. Community Hall. All persons interested in the cemetery are extended an invitation. We are sorry to report that Dalton —Schultz was admitted last Thursday to Wingham and District Hospital. Visitors on Sunday with Mrs. Dalton Schultz and with Dalton at Wingham Hospital were their daughter Mrs. Tom McMullin and Mr. McMullin, Tommy and Timmy of St. Catharines and their son Mr. Leonard Schultz and Mrs. Schultz of Tillsonburg. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn arrived home on Thursday after visiting for 2 weeks with their son, George Conn, Mrs. Conn and family of Sherbrook, Quebec. The regular meeting of White- church •U.C.W. will' be held. June 1st at 2 p.m.. at the home of Mrs. Elmer Sleightholm with the Christ- ian Stewardship convener in charge. Mrs. Christopher was last week transferred from Wingham Hospit- al to Pinecrest Nursing Home, Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Mowbray and Jack McIntyre, Wingham on Sunday visited with Mrs. McIntyre at Pinecrest Nursing Home. Paul Falconer of Sarnia spent the weekend, with his cousin, Kevin Falconer. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdon, Kathy, Lorie and Kendra were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon, also Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Camerc n and Mrs. Clara. Cameron of Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Moffat of Langside were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Falconer speni the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Hector Purdon and family of Strathroy. Mrs. Rena Fisher of Wingham i was a Sunday visitor, with her i daughter, Mrs. Bill Gibson, Mr. ' Gibson and family. A workshop for P.R.O. is being . held in Whitechurch Hall on June 13 with leader Mrs. Harvey Houston, Provincial P.R.O. and for Bruce South District • Secretary Treasurers in the Presbyterian Church and for Bruce South Branch Curators bring History Books and Yellow Manual. All bring their lunch and refreshments will be served. Treat Injuries At Hospital Max Brown; R. R. 2 Lucknow, was driver of a truck travelling east on the 9th concession of West Wawanosh May 21," when the truck went out of control and rolled. He and his brother Mike were treated for minor injuries. Investigated by J. S. Dore. Glenn McLean, Brussels, was driver of a car which went out of control May 22 and struck a hydro pole, on James Street in Brussels. He was treated for injured ribs and released. Miss Yvonne Blake, R. R. 2 Brussels, was a passenger in the above vehicle driven by Mr. McLean. She was examined and released from hospital with a bruised arm. Investigated by Constable Jessup. Paul O'Neil, R. R. 1 Wingham, fell off a dirt bike he was driving May 22. He was admitted to hospital with a fractured left ankle. Investigated by J. S. Dore.
