Spring Dance' sponsored by the
West Huror Junior Farmers held at
the Saitford Valley Hall on Friday
evening, May 27.
Mrs. Ursula Hebert was admitt-
ed to the Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital, Goderich on
Tuesday, 'May 24.
Frank Riegling arrived home
from Brownvale, Alberta on Wed-
nesday, May 25. Frank left here on
Saturday, May 7th to do the spring
planting at his new farm in
Brownvale.
Special church services were
held on Sunday, May 29th with the
Crowning of the Blessed Virgin
Mary. Kindergarten to Grade 4
school children carried flowers in
the procession with Miss Debbie
Austin doing the crowning. Help-
ers were Frances VanRooy and
Donna VanOsch. Vine Doherty
carried the rosary and Lisa Riegling
carried the crown. Grades 5 to 8
school children were in the choir
with special organ music provided
by Mrs. Lillian Simpson.
St. Joseph's choir at Kings-
bridge took part in the Songfest
held at the Christian Reformed
Church in Lucknow on Sunday
evening, May 29.

visited on Sunday with her parents

her friend. Miss Kathy AlderSon of
Guelph flew from the Toronto Int-
ernational Airp-ort on Sunday, May
29 for a week's holiday in Nassau.
. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sinnett and
family spent the -weekend in
Toronto with her sister Maureen,
Mr. 'and Mrs. Delmar Maize and
family. While in Toronto, their son
Eddie, a sailor on the S. S. Gulf
Canada was docked and they had a
visit with hitn.

Congratulations to Sister Maur-
een C.S.J. (Helen Dalton) on her
50th anniversary to the Community
of St. Joseph Sisters. A Mass of
Thanksgiving wa-s celebrated at the
Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse,
Richmond Street, London on Satur-
day. May 28th at 2 p.m. followed
by a tea. A hot, dinner for 24
immediate members of the Dalton
families and friends was served at
the home of Sister Maureen's
niece, Arnold and Frances (Dalton)
Marsman, London. Those attend-
ing from this area were, Brother
Carl Voll, C.R., Mr. and. Mrs.
Dennis Dalton, Raymond Dalton,
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Dalton.

Ron Boel on the birth of a baby girl,
Lorrain Kimberly, born on Mon-
day, May 16 at the South Huron

. Municipal enterprise activities are those activities whose costs
are substantially recovered from service charges on the users and are

Debt retirement costs including principal and interest are
charged against current revenues in the -periods in which they are
paid. Interest charges are not accrued for the periods from the dates
of the latest interest payments to the end of the financial year.
2. CAPITAL OUTLAY TO BE. RECOVERED IN FUTURE YEARS
(a) Some capital outlay to be recovered in future years does not
represent a burden on general municipal revenues, as it is to be
recovered in future years from other sources.

5. CHARGES FOR NET LONG TERM LIABILITIES
Total charges for the year for net long term liabilities were as
follows:

Of the total charges shown above, $10,885 were paid from general
municipal. revenues of the municipality and are included in ex-
penditure on the "Statement of Revenue and Expenditure" classified
under the appropriate functional headings. The remaining $5,424 were
recovered from municiNil enterprises for which the related net long
term liabilities were incurred, and arc not reflected in the statement.
6. LIABILITY FOR VESTED SICK LEAVE BENEFITS
Under the sick leave plan, unused sick leave can accumulate and
employees may become entitled to a cash payment when they leave
the municipality's employment.
The liability for these accumulated days, to the extent that they
have vested and could he taken in cash by an employee on ter-
minating', amounted to $1,630 at the end of the year. No provision has
been made for this liability.
7. THE ANTI—INFLATION ACT.
The municipality, its local hoard and commissions are by
agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government
of the Province of Ontario dated January 13, 1976 subject to The Anti-
Inflation Act (Canada) and the national guidelines. This legislation
limits increases in compensation payments effective October 14, 1975.
No provision has been made in these financial statements for any
possible effects of the legislation on this municipality.
