At Milwaukee
Mel Ritchie and Mark Kernighan
'of Hackett's Farm Equipment in
Lucknow recently attended a four
day tractor service school in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, conducted
by the Agricultural Equipment
Divisions of the Allis-Chalmers
Corp.
Hackett's Farm Equipment is the
local dealer for Allis-Chalmers
agricultural, lawn and garden
products.
This tractor service training
school , was one of many the
company has scheduled around the
country for dealers and their
service department personnel.'
Mel Ritchie has also. attended
quality service training school and
tractor school from 1974-76, con-
ducted by the company.

Attend Fun Day
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mole of
Lucknow visited last weekend with
their son Don Mole, his wife Kay
and sons Dan and Shawn at
Courtright. Donnie Mole, had been
visiting his grandparents at Luck-
now so returned with them to his
home after an extended holiday.
On Sunday Harvey and Belle
attended a .Saddle Club Fun Day of
which the Don Mole family are
members. They are all interested
in saddle riding and rodeo games,
even 3 year old Donnie loves to ride
his pony in the corral with his
family.
Don, Kay, Shawn and Danny
won several ribbons on Sunday and
to end the day there ' was a
calf-roping event of thirteen entries
in which Don placed first and a
neighbour Clair Robbins using
Don's horse placed second. None of

Visitors over the holiday week-
end -with Mrs. N. J. MacKenzie,
Lucknow and Mr. and Mrs. Jack
MacKenzie, Ashfield were Mr. and
Mrs. Rae Meyers, Ottawa and Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Broullette of
Thunder Bay; Miss Janet Meyers,
Eric Williams and Dennis Yake of
Toronto.
Aldert Cuperus of Friesland, The
Netherlands, visited for a few days
last week with his uncle, Peter
Bilstra of Lucknow.
Mrs'. Mary MacIlwain of Porta-
down, County of Armaugh in
Northern Ireland, and her sister
Mrs. Annie Hanna of Amsterdam,
New York, originally from Porta-
down, are visiting for three weeks
with their cousins Mr. and Mrs.
Philip MacMillan, Lucknow and
other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tyson of
Windsor visited for the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bogues,
Lucknow. Sunday guests were Mr.
and Mrs. Lorne Emmerton and
daughters Cindy and Lori, Tees-
water and Mrs. Charles Baker of
Tiverton.
Mr. and Mrs. George MacGreg-
or of Copetown visited on the
holiday weekend with Mrs. N. J.
MacKenzie of Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack McDonagh of
Lucknow visited last weekend in
London with the former's sister,
Mrs. Ed MacKenzie and Mr.
MacKenzie and also attended the
Lions. Parade.
Mrs. Campbell Thompson of
Lucknow, on Saturday, May 28th,
attended her 1932 class reunion df
the Guelph General „Hospital. Class
members gathered for a noon
luncheon at the Valhalla Inn,
Kitchener. That evening they all
attended . the Hospital Alumni
dinner held at Bingeman Lodge.,
Kara Lynn Kerr, daughter of Mr..
and Mrs. Joe Kerr (Dolores
Whitby) of .R. R. 1 Ethel was
baptized in the Anglican Church in
Atwood on' Sunday, May 29, 1977.
Attending from Lucknow were
Mrs. Barb Jardine, Mrs. Rhea
Whitby and Donald.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Hunter of
Lucknow visited on the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hunter
