An anniversary party was hell. in
Dungannon Agricultural Hall on
--Sat.w:day evening_for Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Cook (nee Gail Ashton), who
were married one year ago.
Miss Tammy Schiemann of •
Kitchener spent the weekend with
her friend, Miss Wanda Park.
Rev. H. G. and Mrs. Dobson
visited last Monday with their son
and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jas.
Dobson in St. Catharines.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Smith
returned home from London in mid
week. Mr. Smith had been in
hospital there for several days.
Mr.. and Mrs. Fred Young.,. Mrs_
John Young, Mrs. William Wig-
gins visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Henderson, in London on Saturday
and helped Sharon Young move to
a different apartment.
Mrs. Bert Wiggins of Brantford
visited Mrs. Wm. Wiggins on
Sunday.

arrival of their daughter, Alesia
Johanna, at Stratford General
Hospital on Saturday, May 14,
1977. A granddaughter for Mr. and
Mrs. Ross Eedy, Dungannon.
Wm.'' Gardner (nee Rosemary
Eedy) of Stratford on the birth of a
daughter on Saturday, May 14.
Several from here attended the
Horticultural Display and Tea in
Lucknow Legion Hall on Wednes-
day evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Badger of Pike
Lake, Saskatchewan, spent a
couple of days with Mrs. Cecil
Blake on their way home from'
Mesa, Arizona, where they spent
the past 6 months. Mrs. Blake

relatives in this area while they
were here.
Miss Frances Logtenberg, who
has finished her course at Guelph
University, is vorking at the West
Wawanosh Fire Insurance office in
Dungannon.
Since May 15 was Rural Life
Sunday, Rev. H. G. Dobson spoke
on "Jesus and Rural Life" at
Sunday morning service in Dun-
gannon United Church. Flowers
were placed, in the church by Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon Kidd and family
in memory of her mother, Mrs.
Jack Ryan.
The Dungannon Anniversary
Committee, Mrs. Logtenberg, Mr.
Tom Culbert, Mr. Thos. Webster
and the organists met with Mr.
Dobson after service on Sunday.

Official Board was held at Nile
United Church on Tuesday evening
at which the Pastoral Relations
Committee presented the name of a
minister and the decision of the
Board was to issue, a call which
must then be approved by Presby-
tery before it is final.

Jim Webster of Kitchener and Mr.
and Mrs. Atlee Wise and Patricia
of Richfield. Ohio on the weekend.

and Bruce Johnstone of Lucknow;

ed the graduation exercises of
Centralia College of Agricultural
Technology at Huron Park on
Friday, May 13. Miss Marion
Johnstone received her diploma in
Food Service Management.
On Saturday, May 7, Alex and
Catherine Andrew of Lucknow
attended the wedding of Elizabeth
Ann Bade and John Rosca Jr. of
Chaska, Minnesota. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Douglas Bade and granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Roderick MacDon-
ald of Wacona, Minnesota. Also
attending were Mr. and Mrs.
Roderick MacDonald and family of
Des Moine, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Huelsteh of St. Paul,
Minnesota, uncle and aunt of the
bride, respectively.

The U.C.W. thanks those who
turned out for the church cleaning
bee on May I L There was such a
good response that the work was
completed in one day.
The Dungannon Christian .Fel-
lowship Church met for worship on
Sunday morning. The scripture
lesson was Matthew 6, verses
19-34. Pastor Zehr spoke on
"Which will it be?" based on
Matthew 6: 24. No man can serve
two masters.
On Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock
the Christian" Fellowship congrega-
tion and other friend's from the area
enjoyed a musical program provid-
ed by the Rockway Mennonite
School. Chamber Choir from Kitch-
ener under the direction of Robert
Shantz.
Mr. and Mrs. Lall Mehan of
Lucknow returned home Monday
evening from a week's holiday on
the island of Aruba in the
Carribean. They flew from Toronto
to Aruba. The trip was organized
by M. Loeb of London.
Mr. and Mrs. Barry McQuillin,
Jill and Scott of Oshawa were home
for the weekend with the former's
mother Mrs. Fred McQuillin.
Mrs. Harold Johnstone of Park-
hill and formerly of Lucknow, who
has been a patient in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London for the past six
weeks, underwent further major
surgery on Tuesday of last week.
