Other business reports included Township Hall renovations, the Skating Carnival, and helping the Ripley Scouts sponsor a dance. After the meeting was opened and the minutes adopted, the following business was dealt with. B. M. Ross and Associates, H. M. Gibson Ltd. and Gamsby and Mannerow Ltd. were asked to submit a proposal on the bridge inspection for the Township re- quested by the M.T.C. Dave Eadie was appointed to purchase a • mail box for the township. A donation of $50.0Q was made to the GreY-Bruce Arts 'Council. A motion c was made .that the clerk notify the restructuring committee of Bruce County that the Township Council is in favour of the proposal to set up a communication network within the fire departments in Bruce County. Five applications for tile drain loans were , accepted by Council, Lot 6 and W 1/2 7, concession 6, for $10,000.00; E 1/2 Lot 2 and W 1/2 Lot 3, concession 3, for $2100.00; Lot 5, concession 5, for $6000.00; Lot 11, 1st road south of Durham for $6000.00; Lot 5, concession 3 and 4 for $3000.00. The rates for the Township hall will be as follows, banquets and dances, $20.00 and other events $15.00; card parties will be $6.00 and banquets and dances for outsiders will be $25.00. By-law 4-1977 was passed to rescind by-law 4 - 1962 It : payment of fox bounties. This by-law terminates payment of fox bounties in Kinloss, Doug Ward was engaged to do the backhoe work ill the Township at $18.00 per hour and Wayne Bushell bulldozing dump, etc. at $18.00 per hour. The clerk was instructed to advertise in local papers for a road superintendent for Kinloss Town- ship. Applications to be in by April 25, 1977 at 5 p.m. The following accounts were ordered paid. Mrs. Francis Gemmel], area president, opened the meeting by all present repeating the Mary Stewart Collect. Mrs. Grant Grieve, secretary, recorded the minutes of the meeting. Plans were made for the Grey Bruce. Area Convention , which will be held in Knox United Church, Durham, November 7-8.
