Livingston, Scotland, where he was
minister for eight years, will preach
in the Lucknow Presbyterian
Church on Easter Sunday, April 10,
at the 11 a.m. service, also in South
Kinloss at 12.30. Mr. Dallison is 35
years old and has two boys, aged 5
and 2 years respectively. Lucknow

The annual meeting and banquet
of the Huron-Bruce Dairy Herd
Improvement Association, tinder
the supervision of Orville Elliott,
was held in the Lucknow United
Church on Friday, April 1.
Rev. Doug Kaufman asked the
blessing and ninety-three sat down
! to a delicious beef dinner, catered
to by the United Church Women.
Mrs. Don Eadie, R. R. 2
Wingham, moved 'a vote of thanks
to the ladies, to which Mrs. Alex
Andrew replied.
After the introduction of the
head table, each • of the other
members identified himself and the
area in which he resides.
Several draws were made and
the donors and the winners are as
follows: Cheese donated by Pine
River Cheese Factory were won by
Mrs. John McIntosh, Belgrave and
Wm. Searle, R 5 Lucknow; Cheeses
donated by Teeswater Creamery
were won by Mrs. Arnold Jeffray,
Belmore and Ronald Brooks, R. 3
Lucknow; 100 lb. of dairy supple-
ment from Lucknow District Co-op
was won by J. C. Drennan,
Dungannon; 100 lbs. of calf grower
from Treleaven's Feed Mill, won
by John Gamble of Ripley; a bag of
mineral from Robert Farrish won
by Glenn Boyd of Ripley; 50 lb. of
Purina Dairy Mineral from Larry
Cowan, won by Peter Van Sickle,
R. 5 Lucknow; 50 lb. of Swift's
Dairy Mineral from Gordon John-
stone, won by Allan MacDonald, R.

J. C. Drennan then introduced
the speaker, Rev. Doug Kaufman,
who gave the crowd many humor-
ous anecdotes and some thoughts
of a little more serious nature to
take home with them. Glenn Boyd
thanked Doug and presented him
with a gift.
Lorne Marshall of Kirkton, the
District Supervisor for the D.H.I.,
presented certificates for outstand-
ing achievement to Glenn Schwart-
zentruber of Wingham, for the
highest production increase which
amounted to 30 B.C.A. over 1975;
Eldon Cook of Belgrave for the best
calving interval of 12.3 mos.; Dale
Farrell for the highest' B.C.A. of
140.5 won by Dale two years in a
row; Peter Scheurwater, the high-
est average amount of milk per cow
which is 16,500 lbs. with an
average test of 3.5 butter fat.
Donald Elliott, Lucknow, was
called upon to show some interest-
ing slides which he acquired on a
trip to the Pacific Islands, New
Zealand and Australia.
Murray Culbert moved a vote of
thanks to Donald and presented
him with a gift.
After a few closing remarks by
Orville Elliott, the meeting ad-
journed for another year.
