Spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs.

Wednesday from University Hos-
pital where she-underwent surgery.

turned home after visiting with
their sister Cathy at Kitchener and

Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Schneller of Wingham and former-
ly of here, were sorry to hear of
their recent car accident while
returning from a motor trip to
Texas.
Mrs. Ruth Wilson and Carol
returned home after spending the
past week with relatives in Toronto.
INJURED IN CAR ACCIDENT
Mrs. Norman Fry of Harriston
(the former Florence Haldenby)
was on her way to spend Friday
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
William Haldenby of here, when
her car was struck by another car at
an intersection, damaging her car.
She was taken to Palmerston
Hospital for treatment and later
released. Mrs. Fry is suffering
from fractured ribs, cuts, bruises
and shock. Relatives and friends
from here wish her a good
recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bennett of
Toronto visited with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Art Haldenby.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nicholson
went to Brampton on Tuesday for
her medical checkup.

March 28 the Annual Mother's
meeting was held. The new
executive for next year is not
complete but Mrs. Allan Rhody will
be the new president.

Chester Finnigan of Ashfield had
a clear sign of spring in his pos-
session.. Chester picked a couple
of dandelions on March 23 which
were well flowered and which
proved to be a bit ahead of their
time.

A fire at noon hour last Friday
did considerable damage to the
truck of Bill Andrew. The wiring
shorted when the truck was driving
-in the Andrew lane. Lucknow Fire
Department answered the call.
