Miss Wanda Park spent the
holiday week visiting in OttaWa;
Miss' Patty Park visited friends in
Goderich during the week; Miss
Vicki and Valerie Park met Miss
Sharon Young in London on
Wednesday evening and attended
a Valdy Concert. •
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rody and
family moved to Vanastra this
week.
Sympathy is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Jouwisma of Wingham,
former residents of Crewe area, on
the recent death of their daughter.
Misses Kim, Kathy and Laurie
Dawson of Goderich spent a few
days this week with their grandpar-
ents Mr. and Mrs.. K. K. Dawson.
Mrs. Olive Straughan of Huron-
view spent a few days last week
with her daughter and son-in-law
Mr. and Mrs. K. K. Dawson.
Mrs. Larry Pentland, Vicki and
Michael flew to Florida and spent
about ten days with Mr. and Mrs.
Wilfred Pentland at Zephyr Hills,
Florida. They all motored home
together, arriving on Wednesday.
Julie Pentland stayed with friends
while her mother was away. Wif
and Marjorie were not sorry to miss
our severe winter.
35TH ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and. Mrs. K. K. Dawson
quietly observed their 35th wed-
ding anniversary on Wednesday,.

Auburn, and Miss Betty Marsh,
Burlington, visited Mrs. Minnie
Jones' and Mel . on Thursday.
Lawrence Baxter and Miss Annie
Baxter of Goderich also called on
the Jones'.
Sympathy is extended to relativ-
es of Robert Alexander Finnigan,
who died in Seaforth Hospital on
March 23 in his 67th year. His wife
is Lenna Pearson (Dick) and his
mother, Mrs. W. J. Finnigan lives
in Zurich.
40TH ANNIVERSARY
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Wilmer Rutledge, who celebrated
their 40th wedding anniversary
with a family supper at the Bedford
Hotel on March 19 with a social
gathering at Dungannon Agricul-
tural Hall afterwards.
The subject of Rev. H. G.
Dobson's sermon on Sunday was'
"The testing temptation". Miss
Shelley Rivett presided at the
organ. Next Sunday is Palm
Sunday and Holy Communion will
be partaken. Camp Menesetung
wants senior staff and, junior
counsellors, so any interested
persons should get particulars from
the minister. Lucknow U.C.W.
invited the congregation to attend a
presentation of the Easter drama:
"LO, I am with you aiway" in the
church santuary on April 5th and
6th at 8.15. This is the story of 11
Biblical women ,and the impact of
Jesus on their lives.
The U.C.W. request donations of
good used-clothing, dishes or shoes
Card Party
There were 11 tables of Progres-
sive Euchre at. the, Dungannon
Orange Hall on ay night.
High lady for the evening was
Mrs. Howard Johnston with a score
of 79. Second high was Mrs. Jack
Errington with 73 points. Albert
Brown won the high prize for the
men with a score of 76 and Howard
Johnston, second high with 69.
The lodge will, hold another card
party on Friday, April 1.
to be left in the furnace room by
April 20 to be packed in a bale.
. Mrs. Harvey Alton is home again
after spending three days at the
first of the week in hospital, due to
injuries received in a fall at her
home.
Miss Marsha Alton spent the
holiday week visiting Mr. and Mrs.
Paul Henderson and family in
Birmingham, Alabama.
Mis's Jane Ribey of Seaforth
spent a night with her grandmoth-
er, Mrs. Wm. Wiggins during the
holiday week.
Matthew and Andrew Ott spent
the week With their grandparents
Mr. and Mrs. Irvine Eedy. Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Ott of Kitchener came for,
the weekend and took the boys
home with them.
Rev. and Mrs. H. G. Dobson
spent a few days last week in
Powassan visiting her sister and
brother, Miss Audrey and Mervin
Cheaney. Miss Cheaney had
surgery in February but is back to'
work now.
Mr. and Mrs.. Thos. Webster
spent a few days last week with Mr.
and Mrs. Ken Thomas and girls in
Bolton.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex J. Szombatti
and son Alex of Brantford called on
Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Webster on
Wednesday. Mrs. Szombatti is the
former Lauraine Hall, daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hall.
Mrs. Amber Popp and George
Walker of Clinton were Sunday
visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Thos.
Webster.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chisholm,
Colin, Leola and Virginia Chis-
holm, David Caesar • and Mr. and
Mrs., Alex Chisholm attended the
wedding of Leonard Payne and
Carolyn Laughlin of Ottawa at
Kinburn United Church, west of
Ottawa, on Saturday, March 26.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Park and Mr.
and Mrs. Rick Park spent last week
in Jamaica and arrived back on
Monday, March 28. "
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Whitney
were home last weekend with
Joanne's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Thompson.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson
attended a conference in Toronto
last week.
Mrs. Mary Bere and Jamie
visited Ruth and Jim Austin in
Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. John
Bere, Karen and David in London
during the holiday week.
Gerry Bere attended Internation-
al Night at Fanshawe' College on
Saturday night and visited Mr. and
Mrs. John Bere and family.
Mrs. Evelyn Errington received
word that her sister, Mrs. Melinda
Nivins is in Clinton Hospital due to
injuries to her knee in a fall at her
home.
The Young People from Dungan-
non Christian Fellowship Church
went to Hawkesville, near Elmira,
on Friday evening to spend the
weekend, with the Young People
there on ,an exchange, program.
Student Pastor Doug Zehr took
Sunday ser'ice at Dungannon
Christian Fellowship Church' using
as test for his sermon, John I: 2-28.
Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Irvin visited
their daughter Betty and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stirling,
Darlene and Harold in Thamesville
on the weekend.
