Couple Are 50 Years Married On Sunday, March 20, Stewart and Janet Needham held open house at St. Andrew's United Church, Ripley, to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Fifty years ago they were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Welsh, by Rev. George Weir. Stewart's parents were Mr. and Mrs. James H. Needham. Both Janet and Stewart were born in Huron Township and moved after their marriage to Lot 13, Concession 9., Huron Township, where they farmed until they retired.
