spent two days and from there took
fotir day cruise to Nas4u, and
Freeport. They rensrned from
Florida by bus spending three days
in Detroit with Ross brother Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Curriniirip
Brian Cranston, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Keith Cranston of R. R. 2
Lucknow. commenced a course in
electronics this week at Radio
College of Canada in Toronto.
Mrs. Elizabeth' Suter. and Mr.

Wingham were Sarurday guests of
Mr. and Mrs. John Wraith,
Lucknow.
Mrs. Harold Nicholson of Luck-
now recently spent a week in
Wiugham Hospital where she had
surgery.

daughter Dr. Helen Salkeld at

Ripley Lions
Hold Annual
Skating Carnival
The annual Ripley and District
Skating Carnival, organized by the
Ripley and District Lions, was held
on Friday, March 18 in the
Recreation Complex. A good
crowd of spectators and particip-
ants were in attendance.
Master of ceremonies was Alan
McLean. Judges included Mrs.
' Mary MacDonald, Mrs. Marg
Fuller and Mrs. Helen Henderson.
Miss Cathy Hienz was the special
guest skater. Miss Hienz 'is the
teaching instructor at . the Meaford
and Owen Sound Skating Clubs...
The following is a list of winners
in the special divisions. Francis
Boyle was the oldest skater and
Snzanne Paquette was the yOung-
est skater i2 1 '2 years). Mr. and
Mrs. Frank VanKooten had the
largest family on skates.
