LANGSIDE
The mild weather last week has
brought more signs of spring.
Though we haven't seen any robins
here one has been seen in Lucknovv
and also in Teeswater and yester-
day a flock of wild geese was seen
flying over. With snow banks
rapidly disappearing there is plenty
of mud around and some of the
country roads are not too good with
soft spots and water across the road
in some places: These are all signs
of spring.
This week students at F. E.
Madill School in Wingham will be
busy with exams before the spring
holiday. We wish them all good
luck with them.
