LANGSIDE
After a good week Weatherwise,
in which we lost part of our snow,
the storms seem to be back with us
again. If the snow and wind ,
continue the news may be late
again and school buses may not be
running.
Robert Wynne of Waterloo called
on. Mr. and Mrs., Clifford Young on
Saturday. He was going to his farm
home on the 8th of Kinloss to see
how it stood the winter storms.
Mr. and 'Mrs. Bob Bregman
visited with his mother Mrs. Jan
Bregman of Exeter on Thursday.
Birds seem to be scarce this
winter but last week with ,milder
weather the starlings were back.
We have not heard of any crows
being seen yet.
Church at Langside was cancel-
led on Sunday due to blowing snow
and poor visibility. °
Keith and Robert Bregman and
Bill and Henry Brasjen entered the °
Whipper Billy Watson snowerama
which took place in spite of stormy
weather and was successful with
about one hundred and seventyfive
entries. The money raised will go
to the Timmy Crippled Children'i
fund.
