The Block firm operates over 7500 offices throughout Canada and United States. The manager of the Kincardine office will be Thea Van Wensem, who as well as being a qualified bookkeeper, has been trained by H & R Block to prepare both personal, as well as business and farm income tax returns. The Kincardine office will be a subsid- iary of the Goderich H & R Block office which is open twelve months of the year and is managed by Kitty and Vern Smith of Goderich, who also have a seasonal residence 'at Point Clark. The Kincardine office opens January 31st until April 30th. Treat Injuries Al Hosiiital Gregory Smith, R. R. 4 Goderich, was driving his vehicle when he was involved in a collision, 3 miles north of Holyrood on January 18, on Bruce County Road 1. He was admitted to hospital with internal injuries and later transferred to University Hospital, London. Investigated by Kincardine O.P.P. Miss Tiffany Wall, Dungannon, was struck by an automobile on the main street in Dungannon. She was admitted to hospital with facial injuries. Investigated by J.' Hicks, Wingham O.P.P. for Goderich O. P. P Tony is 22 months but seems more like a lively one-year- old, partly because he is small for his age and . he• has developed 'slowly, He is active, healthy and appealing with his slightly curly- brown hair and blue eyes. Gentle, easy-going and always good-natured, Tony is friendly and likes everybody. lie likes animals too. Tony is a good sleeper and he loves to eat. He can entertain himself but really likes to be with people. If there are no real people around he can be absorbed in television, no matter what the program. He is especially responsive to music. HELENS Intended for last week SNOWMOBILE CLUB Sixteen members gathered for the trail ride on Friday night. Snowmobiling was restricted to well known trails as there was too much snow in the fields. Following the ridesnowmobilers were inform- ed of an up-coming 100 mile ride around the Clinton area to help sponsor the March of Dimes. After the short meeting a light lunch of home-made soup was served. . Recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Todd were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Verhulst of Bathe and 'Mr. and Mrs. John Bick of Scarborough. Terry Jamieson is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital following a. snowmobile accident in which he suffered severe leg injuries. Get well wishes for a speedy recovery are sent from this community. Douglas Aitchison celebrated his 21st birthday at his home on January 16 (actual birthday Janu- ary 11).
