Mrs. Gertrude Walsh of Kincar-
dine spent Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. George Graham.
Sympathy is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Delbert Hedley and family
and other relatives in the death of
his grandfather, the late Wesley
Hedley, who passed away Sunday
in his 100th year at Brucelea Haven
where the deceased had been a
resident for sometime. The
remains rested at Linklater Funeral
Home, Kincardine, where the
service was held on Tuesday
afternoon.
Mrs. Jack. Scott attended the
bridal shower for Linda Kempton
on Saturday at the home of Mr. and
PURPLE GROVE
Deepest sympathy is extended
the Gawley family on the passing of
Vic's sister Ada. Mr. and Mrs. Les
Gawley of Powell River, British
Columbia were' home to attend the
funeral and are spending some
time with Vic and Wanda.
Best -wishes go out to Donald
Forster who had the misfortune to
be driving on one of those bad days
and' was in a collision with another
vehicle. Although Don was not
seriously injured .he required
stitches in his chin: In spite of how
the London News read, the men
were not transported by snow-
plough but by county truck to
Lucknow where they received
medical attention.
' Visiting with the Boyle family
last weekend were Kerry, from
Hamilton and Miss Kelly Vickery of
Inglehart who, attends Fanshawe
College. Also Linda McDonald of
Ripley was a guest of Corinne
Boyle.
Due to the stormy weather the
card party and meeting which was
to be held at the Community Centre
was cancelled.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Mrs. Allan Coiling, Ripley.
The Anglican Parish service will
be held in Lucknow next Sunday
evening at 8 p.m.

is hoped the weather will settle
enough to allow them to attend
these classes.

Goderieh and Margie and David
Lockheed. On Saturday the Collins
all pitched in and helped move
Margie and David to Kincardine
where they will live.

Kincardine, Marty Bolte and
Walter Collins.
Wanda and Victor and Les and
Laura Gawley visited on Saturday
evening with Don and Tiny
