The bad weather has played
havock with the hockey schedule as
well as other activities. The Lancer
report has missed the paper two
weeks in a row because the writer
couldn't make it to town to deliver
on Monday.
The Lancers have had a tough
schedule since last writing, drop-
ping a close game to Port Elgin 4-2
in one of their best games of the
season on January 9 at home. The
following weekend the Lancers
represented themselves well in the
Milverton tournament, playing
three games there as, well as a
league game in Mitchell. In three
games it took sixteen minutes of
overtime for Mount Forest to knock
them out of the consolation
championship game.
Since the tournament, things

game against Clinton on a stormy
Friday night, we had to call up
some Juveniles and a few members
from the bush league to ice a team.
Needless to say, even-with a strong
effort„ they came out on a losing
end in the contest. The Lancers are
in a real battle for second spot in
the standing with Clinton and hope
our fans will continue to give more
of the fine support to boost the
boys' morale.
The next home game is with
Fergus on Sunday, January 30.
Come out and cheer the boys on to
victory.
