G. Hunter were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hunter, Neil and Laura of Pefferlaw', Ontario and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Keane, Brian and Arlene of Cardiff, Ontario. Miss Liella Finlayson, Lucknow, spent the Christina's weekend in Toronto with her nephew Dr. Donald M. Finlayson and. family. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Stanley, Lucknow, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stanley and family, Ripley, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stanley and family, Kinlough, Mr. and Mrs., Doug Stanley and family, Culross, Larry Stanley, North Bay, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Kaake, Walkerton, were Christmas guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Bedford and, Mr.. and Mrs. Dan Tollefson aTd family of Mississauga. Miss Gail Pritchard, a student at Wilfred Laurier University, Water- loo, spent the Christmas holidays at home with her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Pritchard and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pritchard, Casey and Darren of Stouffville were also Christmas visitors with their parents and family. Mrs. Bill Button, Lucknow and daughter Marion of Kitchener, spent ten days .at Christmas with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert Button and granddaughter Kerry, Calgary, Alberta. Mrs. D_,ouglas Graham of Luck- now spent a week recently in London with her sister Mrs. E. Drummond and other relatives, also visiting with her husband, a patient in University Hospital. Mr. Graham has now returned to his home in Lucknow. Mrs. Evelyn Barkwell, Lucknow, spent Christmas with her grand- son, Murray Barkwell, in Toronto and New Years in Scarborough with her son Jack Barkwell. She spent the following week in Dundas with her son, Bob Barkwell, who brought her home to Lucknow this past Sunday. Paddy Murray, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ab Murray, Lucknow, is a patient in Victoria Hospital, London. He has been troubled with a bleeding ulcer and was admitted to Wingham and District Hospital on December 23 and on January 8 was moved to Victoria Hospital for further tests. DUNGANNON Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Sherwood on the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sherwood of Sarnia and her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Farege, Lee and Curtis Camlachie, near Sarnia. Mrs. Harold Errington returned home from Wingham Hospital on Thursday. What was first thought to be a heart attack turned out to be a muscle spasm under the rib cage which made breathing difficult temporarily. Dorothy now feels able to resume her regular activities. Sympathy is ektended to relativ- es of Mrs. Mary Barr, who died following a stroke on January 7. She had made her home for the past several years with her daughter Annie, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kitchener Finnigan. The sacrament of the Lord's Supper was administered at Dun- gannon United Church on Sunday. Mrs. Greg Jarvis (nee Peggy Hodges) was admitted to member- ship and welcomed to share the communion service. Rev. H. G. Dobson commended the Sunday School children and teachers on their faithful attendance despite the wintry weather. Mr. and Mrs. Allan McNee, Edward and Paul spent part of the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Graham McNee and attended funeral rites for Sandra's grand- mother, Mrs. Mary Barr. Miss Debbie Vella visited her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Worthy McNee and family at Westfield on Sunday. Sympathy is extended to relativ- es of Roy Black who passed away in Wingham Hospital on Saturday after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Black was the former Eva Errington. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kettle of Leamington area visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Hodges. On Sunday the Kettles and Hodges were dinner guests of Mr. and. Mrs. John Park. John and Kathie Stanbury were there also. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Kilpatrick, Agincourt; Miss Beulah Long, Benmiller; and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kirkland visited Mrs. Cecil Blake on Thursday. Born - a son, 6 lbs. 5 oz. to Mr. and Mrs. John Bere in St.. Joseph's Hospital, London on January 10, 1977. ,Guest speaker at Christian, Fellowship Church on Sunday morning was Mr. David Shantz of Joliet, Quebec, brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Martin. Mary Margaret Forster and Gilan Lazarevich were married recently at St. Andrew's United Church in Ripley. Rev. Jim Bushel officiated. The bride is the daughter of Walter and Isabelle Forster of Ripley. The bridegroom's parents are Mrs. Mary Lazarevich of Chatham and the late Nicholas Lazarevich. Given in marriage by her father, BROOKSIDE HAPPENINGS Intended for last week In the girls hockey games to date this year the teams tied first and, in the second game the score was Streakers 2, Strippers O. the bride wore ,a polyester satin gown. Maid of honour, Nancy Miller of London, Ontario, wore a green and yellow print gown. The groomsman was Ross Barne- yell, also from London. Guests„ were ushered by the bride's brothet, Donald Forster, and her brother-in-law Judson Maillette. The couple will reside in Brantford. The Students' Council provided 2 films for the students during the last few days. They were "Shakiest Gun In The West" and "Ma and Pa Kettle on the Farm". Also on Monday, December 20 students enjoyed an' hour's skating at the Lucknow Arena.
